Hi, I am Monica Armstrong

and I want to be your photographer!

Growing up, I was always the one who carried around my little pocket point-and-shoot camera, and people knew that I always had it. I took some photography classes, learning the basics as well as spending time in a darkroom developing my photos. The combination of my knowledge of a dark room and always having my camera lead to me being the Photography Specialist at Girl Scout camp both teaching the girls about photography and taking pictures of the whole camp for social media. As I started exploring photography more, I thought about what meant the most to me and where my experience would lead me. I have years of experience working with kids and families through camp, nannying, and babysitting which made it very clear that my love was photography for families and children. 

My goal is simple: for a session to be as fun and stress-free as possible!

Your only job is to be yourself, laugh a lot, have fun and let me do the rest! I can’t wait to get you in front of my camera!
